Thanks for the welcome. I peruse this board but never have anything to add. I thought I’d share what I knew about Julius, hopefully I don’t upset anyone by doing so.CodyCat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2024 3:58 pmThats one heck of a first post! Welcome SloSlocat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2024 2:50 pmDavis had a meniscal tear and no ligamentous injury. Assuming he opts to have a meniscectomy, he will be out for a week after surgery at most. I’m guessing he had surgery last week. If he opts for a meniscal repair, that’s maybe 9 month recovery at best.

Why didn't we see White in the griz game? Any update on his status? Jones is going to need a breather every so often if Scottre isn't there yet.

Re: Injuries (UM game update)
White was in on the kick off return team, so he wasn’t injured. I have to assume then that they think Coon is a better bruiser back more like Davis or Humphrey. So he got to play when Jones needed a rest because they were bound and determined to pound the rock against the grizzlies.bsnwhespen23 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 12:01 pmWhy didn't we see White in the griz game? Didn't White also fumble a couple times early in the season? The rest of his play may not have made up for that.Long Time Cat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 12:24 pmWhite was in on the kick off return team, so he wasn’t injured. I also would not be surprised to see Henley. A few of the players have said that he’s extremely impressive.Long Time Cat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 12:24 pmWhite was in on the kick off return team, so he wasn’t injured. Vigen has been calling him Scottie during the pressers and qb club.

I've noticed that Ty calls him Scottie and Ben seems to be about 60/40 on Scottre over Scottie. Considering how he looks bowling over much larger and athletic guys than me, I'll call him Mr. Humphrey until he tells me different.

Re: Injuries (UM game update)
His speed against UTM would be a major weapon. From what I have watched of them so far, they seem slower on defense than many of the Big Sky defenses we have played so far.SparkCat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 8:06 pmI also would not be surprised to see Henley. Bump
Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

All I saw during the game was Ty and Scottrie limp off. Looked like Ty was going to shake it off and then was sidelined. Not sure on Scottrie. Would be nice to get Rohan back in the mix. Davis was on sideline with crutches.

I have no information...but I could see Davis being "a week or two away" for the rest of the season...I say that recognizing how impactful Davis can be...Rohan looked to be moving alright on the sideline.

Rohan was literally jumping up and down on the sideline. He seemed good to go. Hopefully it was just a precautionary thing to get rested and get 100% for the rest of the playoffs.WetBreeches wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2024 8:53 pmI have no information...but I could see Davis being "a week or two away" for the rest of the season...I say that recognizing how impactful Davis can be...Rohan looked to be moving alright on the sideline.

I enjoyed Vigen’s comments about Rohan in the postgame, lol.Catsrgrood wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2024 10:08 pmRohan was literally jumping up and down on the sideline. He seemed good to go. Re: Injuries (UM game update)
My only frustration in the game in an otherwise impressive performance was seeing Humphrey limp off with three minutes left in the 3rd quarter when we were up by 32. He should not have been in the game at all then.
Ditto with seeing Tommy play well into the 4th quarter. No need to risk injuiry with bigger games to play.

Re: Injuries (UM game update)
I was saying the same thing at the same time. I know it's sometimes a fine line, but if the Cats are going to make a run to Frisco, it's CRITICAL that the leaders and starters on this team stay as healthy as possible. Up by 3+ tds late in the 3rd, both Tommy and Scottre should have been done for the day. It's really my only complaint this whole season, is keeping these guy in harms way too long.Travelingcat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2024 11:05 pmMy only frustration in the game in an otherwise impressive performance was seeing Humphrey limp off with three minutes left in the 3rd quarter when we were up by 32. Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Agree on Tommy and Scottrie playing well past the point of outcome being decided. Especially with Scottrie already getting nicked up previously.
