The Griz should try a three QB system, it couldn't be any dumber than whatever the hell they're doing now.
That is the most disjointed clown show of QB rotations I have ever seen.

The Aggies are an impressive team. Cats will have their hands full. Davis has home field. I expect they will have a big crowd.

Should we be worried that the “best running back duo
In the FCS” put up 29 yards against Davis??!
The 29 yards included one run of 24 yards. The other 13 carries were for 5 yards. Davis is impressive against the run. They lead BSC at 3.6 ypc allowed.

Gilman has struggled mightily the last few games. 31 carries for 77 yards vs Poly, UNC and Davis. He was the BSC leader going into those games in ypg and ypc but is fifth in both now.

Griz are lucky they got the home schedule that they got this year. If they play MO St WCU NAU (although they might’ve pulled the upset off if they weren’t playing with their 3rd string QB) on the road they don’t win those games and are out of the playoffs.

Colter is going to have to break his rule this week and talk about the Griz QB situation. What a disaster.

If this holds & the Cats can beat the Gris-and the Cats that played today beat the best team the Griz can field-41-14-The gris become a bubble team for the playoffs.

Bubble team in, for sure. But one of the last 4 in probably.
The gris could probably lose their next two games and still get in the playoffs. The system just works differently for them. I didn’t think they should have been in the playoffs in 2022 with 7 wins and not only did they get in, they get a first round home playoff game.

In a year with a 12 game schedule, the gris will not get into the playoffs with a 7-5 record and no remarkable wins.

What a sweet ending to the season, it would be if we knocked the gris out of the playoffs.

It would indeed be sweet, but I think UM is a lock to make the field at 8-4 with 8 D-1 wins. There just aren't enough other teams out there with better records than that to knock them all the way out. I think NAU will also sneak into one of the last few at-large bids if they beat UNC and EWU in their last two games to finish 8-4 as well.

Hahaha. Agreed. I was just scratching my head all game trying to figure out their game plan with the random qb rotation.

Griz get to playoff with buying their way into the brackets. I wouldn't want to go in that way. I know a few fans and says that isn't true. Lol

The NCAA loves that big stadium and the money they get from it in the playoffs. The gris had no meaningful wins in 2022 and still managed to get in with a home playoff game against a team with a better record. Yes, it's a 12 game season and 7 wins would definitely be bubble, but it's the gris and the rules are different for them. Northern Arizona should win their last two though and if the gris falter, they could take their spot, that's if justice matters.

The griz were ranked #7 coming into the game. They'll probably beat the PSU by 30 next week (with a little help from Barney and Robbi) and then lose to us. Losing to two teams in the top 5 is not going to drop them from #7 to out of the playoffs completely. They likely won't even fall out of the seeds. Even if they were to lose to PSU and end the regular season on a 3 game slide, they'd still get in but would just have to travel since they can't buy first round games anymore.

They went to Frisco last year and they're the griz, they aren't being left out. And anyway, they'd have to lose to PSU for there even to be a question. Even if they did finish 7-5 and got in they'd have to go on the road with the new top 16 seeding so the stadium doesn't matter anymore.

The Griz are still better than a lot of the east coast teams that will make it.

Agreed they won’t drop out of the playoffs, but I don’t think there is anyway they get a top 8 seed and first round bye with a loss to the Cats.

The committee had them at 10 two weeks ago, since then they have a mediocre win against a mediocre team and a loss to the #4 team. I assume they win this next week and lose to the Cats.
So since being ranked #10 by the committee, they would be 2-2, with no ranked wins and two ranked losses. No way they move into the top 8 with that resume.
