Jase Muri would have have been an amazing Slot Receiver for the Cats, but a near fatal traffic accident ended that dream before he could even get here…
I knew there was someone else I couldn't remember. Jase was the one. Do you know how he's doing now?
I knew I heard his name around town recently. Looks like he owns and runs the Billings Hotel & Convention Center.
Muri family has owned it for years. I am guessing that he's moved into ownership/management as his Dad retired.

Sounds like this was another one of those "don't worry guys, we got this, just rest up" games.

Looked like a shoulder injury. He was raising his arm on the sideline, so likely not a broken collar bone. Hopefully minor.

Hopefully by the time we hear anything (two Monday's from now) it's a non-issue.

Sounds like more of a “stinger” or pinched nerve type issued. Doesn’t seem to be anything major at all.

What about Jefferson, I know he is in a backup role again and has been dealing with some injuries, he went down in this game again and I didn't see if he got back in.

Pretty sure he came back in.

Yes, he was definitely back in.

Always hate seeing anyone go out, injury or ejection. Feel like the players that have had to fill holes and take over have done an amazing job. Just hope we can get some guys back after the bye week and stay healthy the rest of the season.

Just wondering on what peoples thoughts are when Perkins comes back. Sain has really done well and improved as the year has gone on. Cole had problems I think with some of the protections early but has gotten pretty good lately. I know he seems to have a couple of low snaps each game but nothing that Tommy hasn't been able to handle, his extra beef in the middle has helped too. Perkins has been in that spot so long has is really good with the protections and such a good leader.

It is going to be a difficult decision for the coaches when the time comes. I would probably stick with Sain and get Perk some live reps before making a full evaluation.

I’ve been waiting for this!

I’m with you. Really hard for me to see how they justify moving Sain, or changing the current starting OL sans injury. They’ve been so productive and have really been gelling. At the end of the day I’ll trust the coaches, but I’m glad it’s not my decision to make.

Truly what a great problem to have! Two, good to great fits at center on an o-line that is owning los! Honestly I’m sure both play and dominate! Depth is dominance and we are building it in Aces.

I think if a medical redshirt is available for Perkins the coaches use it. If not we lose both Sain and Perkins next year. Sain is bigger and stronger and has developed chemistry with the other O-lineman. I would love to have Perkins next year since we already lose Sain, Reed and Wehr next year (and possibly Moore).

I suppose the decision the coaches need to make is whether to stick with the status quo that's working well, or to go back to the preseason depth chart with Perkins at center, Sain at RG, and Wehr at RT. Titan has been playing well enough at RT that I'm not sure you gain a whole lot by making changes at this point unless they're necessitated by injuries to other guys. Perkins could potentially apply for a medical redshirt but that also depends on if he wants to stick around for a potential Year 6, or if he'd rather move on and begin his post-college career.

For those of you who think we’re the only school with injuries, NDSU has 4 starting defensive players (both safeties) who are now out for the year, and their backup QB who they use to run a lot.

Miller is banged up as well. Bad ankle. They also started the year with one healthy running back who wasn't a true freshman.

Who thinks we’re the only team with injuries? Or is that just hyperbole. We’ve had more than our fair share and so has NDSU. Some teams have lots, some have few. Some have them to players they don’t have backups for, some have good depth. All injuries are not created equal. Everything isn’t black and white.
