So far it seems like this was a good decision. Whether it's true or not, SHSU admitted they were out of gas Saturday night. This Saturday will be SDSU's 25th game this calendar year and 13th straight game without a week off. MSU is playing in its 14th game of the year and has had two byes since the end of October. Even still, MSU is beat up as it is. Regardless of whether SDSU has a disadvantage by playing so many games, it seems fairly obvious MSU would be in even worse shape injury-wise if they'd played 8-10 games in the spring.

If SDSU can come out and play at a high level after all that travel and all those games in a year, as well as deal with Bozeman's elevation (Brookings is at 1,600 feet), my hat is off to them. You have to think MSU is going to want to play even harder and more physical than usual, because it would take something super-human to overcome that fatigue for SDSU.
