Proud Boy arrested, burning a blm banner AND
having a "too large" magazine...
Wondering when antifa and blm will be arrested for their burning, their harassment and weapons violations. Also the dc mayor banned the Proud Boys from carrying weapons (firearms) in the March. Again I would ask when antifa and blm will be banned from carrying the same. Waiting for arrests from the harassment at the Hawley residence...

Do you really believe it was peaceful? Did you watch the video? Would you be comfortable with that mob encroaching on your property? Comments made about killing their pets?iaafan wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 6:37 pmExcept the protesters outside Hawley's house were peaceful, according to the police.RickRund wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 5:23 pmhaving a "too large" magazine...

Was it worse than the mob that surrounded the house of Matt Kelley of the gallatin county health dept? I know his elementary school aged son was scared to go to sleep at night. I didn’t see you or Rick speaking about that and that’s right in Bozeman. Wonder why.....Cataholic wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 6:52 pmDo you really believe it was peaceful? Did you watch the video? Second, please show me one instance where I have ever advocated for violence. My comment above actually said the crowd that surrounded Hawley’s house was a threat. Why would I think differently in a similar situation in Bozeman?
Maybe you should ask iaa how he felt about the Bozeman situation. He seems to think a crowd surrounding a persons house can be considered peaceful.

No, I haven't watched the video. Just going off what the police are saying. Oh, I'd be shaking like a leaf, but relieved when they left in an orderly fashion, as described by the police. Those people were breaking the law, but it appears they obeyed and complied with police.Cataholic wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 6:52 pmDo you really believe it was peaceful? Did you watch the video? Hawley is engaging in sedition and his behavior is divisive to our nation which is brittle and frayed from four years of a divisive president. This doesn't mean a mob can conduct vigilante justice. But it's understandable that people are getting angry. They just need to protest properly. Fortunately they weren't burning things and were mostly peaceful, according to police at the scene. Hopefully Hawley comes to his senses, assuming he has any. We need politicians that want to unify our country right now, not guys like Hawley, Daines, and Rosedale, along with several others engaging in this anti-American act of authoritarianism. I'm certain we'll survive and calmer days are ahead. Unfortunately what Trump has done has set the country back decades in terms of unity. He's brought numerous fringe groups out of the woodwork. Most from the right, but also a few from the left.
This has been a great lesson that we're just one election away from authoritarianism. It can happen at any time. Fortunately for everyone, including republicans, it didn't happen this time. Someday a more intelligent person will get this opportunity and learn from Trump's mistakes to turn this country on its head. Scary thought, but so true. Trump IMO actually learned from Nixon's mistakes. Stone learned from his own mistakes and they, along with other nefarious actors, nearly ended our democracy.

There was a mob of people (many of them open carrying) outside his house for 2 weeks. Really affected his kiddos. That type of behavior is not acceptable. Was police on site? I hope the county had provided some police protection. And quite frankly, shame on the media for not making this a big deal. Every single one of those “protestors” should have their name in the paper and on TV. If it was somebody I knew doing this, I would let them that they are only making their cause look like rednecks.wbtfg wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 7:50 pmThere was a mob of people (many of them open carrying) outside his house for 2 weeks. Trump supporters are attempting to breach the Capitol.
Security doors of the Capitol have been locked.
People have been told to stay away from windows.
Office buildings are being closed as has the Library of Congress.
This is a tinderbox.

I don't think I like the idea of going to a residence to protest. Protesting at "the place of business" would be acceptable. Just keep it cool!!!
