COVID Vaccine

Post by The Butcher » Fri Dec 18, 2020 8:50 am

With the first doses of COVID vaccines being delivered I was wondering will people on this site get the vaccination?

I'm pretty neutral. I have no issues with vaccines at all and the quickness this one was developed doesn't give me any pause. It's not high on my list but if it helps getting our lives back I'm all for it. I'd go today if I knew it would speed up normalcy!

Absolutely yes. As a provider, I should be getting mine within the next week or two. Can’t wait!

Congratulations, Colin! Maurice Hilleman must be the most underrated scientist of all time.

Could be. He's credited by some as saving more lives than any person in history. Then again vaccines may be bringing about the end of the world as we know it.

I just wish I was a politician so I could get the vaccine before healthcare workers and at-risk senior citizens

I fully expect the politicians that didn't wear a mask and were never really worried about Covid to pass on their vaccinations, so the folks you mentioned can get their shots.

Wishful thinking. Multiple politicians that downplayed the severity of the virus have already received their vaccinations. I have no issue with McConnell due to age, but Rubio and Graham?

That's reprehensible. Anyone doing that should be condemned. You going to tell your voters all along that it's no big deal, then you're going to cut in line in front of those at-risk (seniors, healthcare providers, teachers, students)? Wow. Wow!

Politicians aren't critical to the country, if they are a senior citizen they can have access.

Should only be going to senior citizens, nursing homes, medical professionals.

Cannot in any breath imagine a bunch of healthy guys lining up in front of people that need it. So unacceptable.

I wonder if Graham read the part of the Bible where Jesus says the plague is no big deal, then cuts to the front of the vaccination line.

Got my vaccine shot today. Feel great, zero side effects other than than my shoulder is a little sore. Went for a run this evening, feeling hopeful for the first time in months.

Isn’t AOC like 35ish? She definitely doesn’t meet the 1st wave of people that should have access to the vaccine.

Politicians are definitely more important than anyone.

.....or so they tell us.

And AOC is a leader of the Democratic Party. Last profession: bartender! And she is 31 years old!
