My definition of a moderate is someone who want's the party that is furthest out on the fringe to come back to center. Party extremism, like the media, is also measured. Currently these measurements find the Republican party to more extreme. That doesn't mean in any way that someone who's a moderate and therefore would be voting Democrat, is a Democrat or a Liberal. It just means that person wants his/her country centered.

I'd love to have a third party that represents the middle class and isn't all caught up in wedge issues.
The Democratic Party has Bernie Sanders, AOC, Elizabeth Warren, Pelosi and numerous other far left leaders pushing for open borders, free healthcare, free college, green energy, etc - and you think that Republicans are further to the Right than Democrats are to the left?

A third party would be great, but it will never happen. Both parties are terrified of a third party and have too much money and power to allow it to happen.
Yes, I think that and so do many others.

You do realize that the sources above are from left leaning publications per the website that you supplied earlier. And I am not even sure how the Times article is relevant. It is a comparison of how the Republican Party compares to other right parties in the world. Do you really think that the Republican Party is further right than the Sweden Democrats who are described as having roots in white nationalism? You mentioned earlier that you were offended by being labeled as a liberal, well I can tell you that I am offended that anyone would label the whole Republican Party as racist.

Thanks Tom. That was very informative. You concept on being a moderate is interesting, and thought-provoking. I hadn't seen that graph before. Interesting to see how the two USA parties sit amongst other parties around the world. As one would expect, the US Republicans are further away from center than the US Dems. Interesting to see all the other parties and where they sit.

Yikes. Senator Sasse turning on Trump is an October surprise for sure! Looks like some GOP are losing faith in POTUS.

Another example of media bias. In Biden’s town hall meeting on ABC, two of the “attendees” that were allowed to ask questions just happens to have strong Democratic ties, one who formerly wrote speeches for Obama and was identified simply as “communications” for his profession.

https://www.foxnews.com/media/abc-silen ... ified-dems
ABC is keeping silent amid growing criticism of its town hall with Joe Biden after two of the attendees who asked the Democratic nominee questions were identified as an Obama speechwriter and the wife of a prominent Pennsylvania Democrat.

That is a super reputable publication. Amazing that you can believe that crap over the New York Post which has the fourth largest circulation in the US.

You may want to stand by for the FBI money laundering investigation in Biden.

You forgot the part about Joe getting 10% and using his Dad's influence. It is also amazing that both of Hunters business partners are going to prison, but Hunter somehow escaped prosecution. I wonder if Joe had anything to do with that?

Leslie Stahl opened the book to a page that was at least partially blank. Every book has them! Such compositions of documents usually contain dividers to differentiate between each document. Don’t you think that Leslie Stahl and 60 Minutes would be tweeting that the pages were blank? Here is a quote from the White House:
Asked whether the book was empty, McEnany said in a statement to Forbes the book contains “everything President Trump has signed – executive orders and legislation – to improve healthcare for Americans” during his presidency, adding, “All of these items are public, just compiled in one place in this book.”
This is another one of those quickly fabricated “conspiracy/mistruths” fabricated by the left. I guess when you don’t have substance to run with, you bend the truth and go for the cheap headlines. You lose credibility when you go with such garbage.

This is what the election has come to. Despite hollow claims by the left that Republicans encourage violence, the left is caught attacking peaceful supporters of Trump. Please note that they are not protestors, they are simply expressing their support for Trump - and they are attacked.
