Looking at the steel beams they have up so far, it looks like they added some more second floor space that was not on the plans that went out to bid.
I am looking at the west side of the buildings where the staircase goes down to the Laundry facility.

The steel columns west of the stairs are there to support the tall parapet that wraps around and conceals some of the rooftop HVAC units.

Re: Bobcat Athletic Complex...Construction
I don’t think that’s part of the plan for this phase of construction. You can probably see the field from offices until seating is added. Might have suites if they add another level. If they ever start getting SRO crowds for games other than Cat-Griz, homecoming and Gold Rush, they might have to add seating in the EZ.
I drove by today and the footprint is big. Once all the steel is up it’s going to look massive.

Yeah, I drove by there on Saturday to check the construction out before heading over to the softball game.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 7:10 pmI don’t think that’s part of the plan for this phase of construction. I drove by today. Cats locker room is down. I would think the old visitors locker room will be coming down tomorrow. If we're playing a season this winter or spring. Were does the team go before and at halftime? The new building won't be done until next summer. A big ass tent?

Socialism - the financial model historically used to control the masses! It has noting to do with
freedom, and seriously erodes the primary constitutional freedom of free enterprise.

My vote is to enclose the west side area under the bleachers and put space heaters in.codecat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 1:22 pmYup, its coning down now.PHAT CAT wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 10:58 pmI drove by today. The team could use the visiting team locker room and the visiting team could use the men’s bathroom under the east side. Have fun trying to warm up in there.

Have any of you been in our visitors locker room? It's very unpleasant. I think it's kind of rude.

I think the reason why the block houses are down is because they’ll have the locker room area of the BAC ready for the spring season.

When I played for the Cats, there were a few locker rooms about that bad.joe_montana_state wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 8:03 pmThe team could use the visiting team locker room and the visiting team could use the men’s bathroom under the east side. Have fun trying to warm up in there.
Yeah Sac State, I am looking at you!

Block houses are both down. Looks pretty different now. And they only have the west half of the building framed--makes you realize how big that building is once you realize it'll basically be twice the size of the beams currently up.
