Chase Benson is #41. Weights have been updated. No Max Lenzy addition yet. Seer Deines is also off the roster as well.
Good for Chase. I was guessing he’d get that. Very underrated, unheralded player.

- Hosey bulking up. Nice!

- James Campbell moved to DB. Interesting.

- Tommy Mellott is thicker than I expected. Good sign.

- Tucker Rovig has an elite stache.

- Grebe coming in at 232 is nice. He'll play right away.

- Finally got Jaharie Martin's height correct lol. VINDICATION

- Garrett Coon looks like a 30 year old GA, not a true freshman.

- Chase Benson still looks terrifying/crazy.

- They really need to move Cole Oster to LB.

- Joe McElroy is BULKING! Good for him.

- If Lewis-Kidd was here another couple years, he might be entirely hair.

- Jobman is 250?! He needs to be a DE.

I heard from a bird, Jobman along with another player are gonna rodeo for MSU this fall and winter.

I love Choate, he actually looks out for kids. If they want to rodeo since they can’t play football, he lets em. I love it, because he wants his kids to enjoy college and excel. If jobmans 250 he may want to switch from team roping and do bulldogging exclusively.

If your left, you aren’t right.

Someone link that thread! Lol! I think they lowered his height because you can’t be tall and play RB. 🤣

I heard that from Choate when he mentioned it in his latest press conference.

As much as I'd love to embarrass people again, I don't think I can handle that thread again!

On the other hand, we have nothing better to talk about.

Apparently they don't plan on playing Troy and Brody at the same time as they're both wearing 15.

If both players play snaps on defense (or offense), I don't think they can have the same number, regardless if they are on the field at the same time. My thinking on this situation (prior to everyone getting granted an extra year of eligibility):

- Troy will be considered an offensive player during the 2020 season (during spring of 2021) and since he's redshirting he won't play on defense anyway meaning Brody can just keep #15

- Chase Benson takes over #41 for his senior year

- Chase graduates and Troy takes over #41 for his senior season in Fall of 2021

But now that there is a proposal to grant every player an extra year of eligibility (regardless if they play in the 2020-2021 season in CFB), we may just be changing those dates to 2021 and 2022 respectively. I really think its all a formality because there likely won't be a spring season anyway.

I believe you are right about no spring games.
If that does happen, will the Football program have the one year exemption to increase the 63 scholarship limit? There may be a few teams in the BSC that may not be able to facilitate that due to financial considerations, or even elimination of their football programs.

I said it right in the beginning, people are VERY optimistic if they think we'll be playing spring ball. Other than the hope of a miracle vaccine, there is no reason to believe we'll be any better off in January or February than we are right now. The fear will be just as real then.

Such a bummer.

So if there is no Spring ball how will this effect either the 2021 and/or the 2022 recruiting. Somewhere you would think there would have to be a log jam. Or will you just see lesser quality players be removed and then they would take spots from lesser quality players in DII/DIII and so on...

No spring football, are you living in North Korea?

Apparently the ACC, Big 12 and SEC are optimistic, we’ll all be watching those games in a few weeks wondering why are team isn’t playing

Andersen wasn’t planning on playing until Fall 2021 anyhow so it seems like a moot point.

See sentence in bold above (where I state Troy is redshirting anyway).

Well, the CDC is no longer recommending asymptomatic testing...so we'll see where things go from here.
