MVFC Season
Sounds like they don't plan on cancelling, per this Tweet. If true, and the Big Sky hasn't made a decision yet, this may help prod the Big Sky in the direction of playing football if they weren't already heading there.

Re: MVFC Season
I'm about 83% optimistic that there will be Bobcat football. But around 36% that there will be fans in the stands...

Re: MVFC Season
I have a feeling that since football is so popular, they'll start the season, but it will be shutdown before it's over and that based on that there won't be a basketball season. I think if they don't start the football season, there will be a basketball season. Just my WAG.
MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Re: MVFC Season
Even if fball gets shutdown at some point there would be a long enough break to get things under control enough to start bball (winter sports) Jan 1. I could definitely see bball being a delayed start under your scenario.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 4:12 pmI have a feeling that since football is so popular, they'll start the season, but it will be shutdown before it's over and that based on that there won't be a basketball season. Yeah, maybe. Maybe coronavirus is here to stay. I know feline AIDS is the number one killer of cats.LTown Cat wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 4:23 pmEven if fball gets shutdown at some point there would be a long enough break to get things under control enough to start bball (winter sports) Jan 1. Both NDSU and SDSU are looking to fill their non conference schedule. I know a team that has an opening Sept 12th....
The State of Montana is Bobcat country.
