Pretty good athlete.
Him and Eiden on the same line really isn't fair.
It's awful nice that the premier MT HS program is in MSU's backyard. Big advantage. Can't say enough what a big deal The Pit (Dane Fletcher) is either. Every little thing matters.

This combine will have added importance this year as this may be college coaches last chance to see a lot of these kids live. No camps this summer has increased the importance of this combine. There will be a Billings location and Missoula location.
The Pitt's Verified Combine is appears to still be slated for this Friday in Bozeman at Bobcat Stadium.
All great opportunities for high school kids to show their stuff!

Do you know if the results will be posted any where?
You know just one more thing us Monday morning quarterbacks need to be able to show how much more we know than the coaches

MSU is looking at Luke at LB. Definitely a player to watch this fall!

The rare HS DE to college LB move.

With an offer from over the hill. I'll take it as a good sign that Luke "liked" this tweet .

That’s good, but calling MSU the University of Montana State In his twitter post seems a bit strange.

I’m not reading anything into it. Obviously a mistake by him that I‘ve seen out of state recruits make before, but never a Bozeman recruit.

This is either a full-ride or PWO (remember no partials in FBS). So...if this is a full-ride, we can say goodbye to getting Dylan and rightfully so if he gets a chance to show his stuff at a program like Nebraska.
If its a PWO, we still have a shot.

The light bulb just went off. We’re offering a lot of guys who under normal circumstances we’re a long shot to get. If the recruits choose the bigger school and take a PWO they’ll be familiar with MSU and the staff if in a couple years they’re not getting playing time and want to consider the portal.

I’m not sure he’s a longshot as his dad played for MSU and his brother currently plays for MSU. Also, I assume his offer from Nebraska is a preferred walk-in offer.
I think MSU is great fit for him.

I didn't know that about him, so thanks for pointing that out. That does change the context of my post. Having said that, I do think the portal changes the way the staff recruits and puts a point to having your best foot forward even if you lose the battle (e.g. Tanner Roderick, Luke May, etc. coming home).
That should always go without saying, but I think it's even more of a point of emphasis now. For example, if we lose a recruiting battle send the kid a card wishing him well and thank him for considering us. It may pay dividends later if that recruit isn't seeing the field like he thought.

Figured this would be of interest to some of you.
Yet, he does have 10 offers so far. Montana State, Montana, Northern Arizona, Bucknell and FBS Air Force have all offered him full-ride scholarships. Ivy League schools Yale, Harvard, Dartmouth and Cornell have extended offers, although they can’t give athletic scholarships. And Nebraska gave him a preferred walk-on spot last week.
Also states he has a lot of interest from teams like Stanford, Washington, Washington State, NDSU, Kansas State, and others that I'm not thinking of right now.

I would like to see a Sentinel vs Bozeman game this year. Rollins vs Eiden.
