Lost his battle yesterday. I didn’t know him like a lot of people did, but was pleased to meet him a time or two. He was a great Bobcat, and by all accounts a far better person.
Way too young.

That is so sad to hear. I know he had been battling for a long time though. I got to know him a little bit back in my college days when he played. RIP Martrel!

Meet him at the Ridge, where he was training kids in Basketball, extremely nice guy. Will be missed by many. RIP Martrel.

I have heard nothing but good things about this man. I am sorry to hear he lost his long battle. Bozeman is a better place because of him. Heart goes out to his family.
