Yeah, NDSU can't pay what the big boys pay.

That kind of poaching is going to get worse. they won't have to skip a year anymore.

Which isn't all bad if it's in the best interest of the player and they think sets them up better for their futures.

While I agree somewhat, The big guys are just going to get richer with this. Since it's been monetized, the little guys should get compensated.

Exactly, the FCS will just get robbed of its top talent every year. Good for the players, but sucks for us as FCS fans.

This is certainly possible. But I don't think it will be as bad as some think.

First, it's not like we have thousands of kids in the FCS that are no-question, contribute-right-away FBS talents. These guys are the exceptions, not the norms.

Second, if these coaches are doing their jobs, most will be confident in their rosters without relying on poaching the FCS teams. Occasionally their will be the studs like Cox, but like I said, I believe these guys are the exceptions to the rule.

Finally, while many kids will always have aspirations of FBS ball, it's not certain that every talented FCS kid will jump ship. Some may be more than happy where they are.

I agree having these guys leave our teams can be a bummer. But I'm always gonna side with kids on this issue. Even if it sucks for me.
