Has anyone heard how Matt McKay is coming along ? A friend told me he throws a nice ball. It will be good competition for all to have his talent in the room. All this self isolation has me thinking football, like many of you I'm sure.
Missing spring practice isn’t going to help any of the QBs. Perhaps the NCAA will allow practices with coaches this summer since many schools are closed.
Are practices cancelled as well? I thought it was just the public events like the scrimmage. So the entirety of Spring Ball is cancelled?
Not yet--postponed for now.

The SEC did last week. I can’t imagine the Big Sky having spring practices which is why I brought up summer with coaches able to be present.

They're saying to avoid doing anything in groups larger than 10, which makes it pretty hard to hold any sort of football practice.

This is correct. Spring ball is gutted.

We'll be lucky if we get football at all this year.

Well you’re lucky, so I guess it’s a lock that we have a season. I think we will. No matter who the politicians are we have great people and scientists.

18 months before a vaccine can be developed. If we hunker down we may get a respite later this summer, but if we start congregating again it will come back in the fall in spite of any great scientists.

What bothers me is that it seems the administration is putting their money on an early breakthrough for a vaccine. They don't seem to be concentrating on treating the imminent problems.

I hope we have football too, but if we don't we've got bigger things to worry about than no football.

Since this is the quarterback thread....

I hear Troy has been spending extra time in the lab and rumor has it he should have a Covid 19 cure sometime next week.

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."
