With the various ideas of honoring our Bobcat women’s team being floated around, how about retiring #20 which represents the year 2020 when this remarkably unselfish team brought so much success for themselves and joy to their fans? The jersey(s), wherever displayed, would have “The Team” as the name. The current wearer of that number, Madison Jackson, surely wouldn’t mind and would change her number next year.
Have the ceremony at halftime of next year’s men’s Cat/Griz game, spare no expense to get the five seniors back to Bozeman for it to join the underclassman who are playing.

Love the idea! Maybe even turn the 20 into a similar tribute for football with 41. The player who exhibits the most “team oriented” style of play gets to wear #20. You could have the players vote on the honor each year.arvcat2 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 10:50 amWith the various ideas of honoring our Bobcat women’s team being floated around, how about retiring #20 which represents the year 2020 when this remarkably unselfish team brought so much success for themselves and joy to their fans? While I like honoring these type of things, I personally oppose retiring any numbers. I think using those numbers for special circumstances is better. In football I like the use of 41.. you can still hang the Jersey number, just not retire it.
