I don't know how these ratings work. Yoon writes on his twitter page he is the #1 kicker in the Pacific Northwest but Glessner is the #1 kicker in Washington. Different rating agencies?

Precisely.

Huffman is using the 247 ratings. Then there is also the Kohl's ratings, and one more that I can't remember. Probably a lot more than one that I can't remember haha!

From Egriz "Recruiting Central"

"Minaya Olivo and Elijah Elliott both to msu, why the hell msu needs 3 3 star RBs is beyond me".

Because we do.
As they snipe up the 10 3-star WRs lol.

I must have missed it, is Elliot official?
Run, run, and run somemore. Need a good stable to rest people when hurting and to send in fresh legs in the fourth quarter. And 400+ against the griz is achievable.

ESPN and Scout.com also rate and rank recruits, but I don't know if those were the ones you're thinking of.

A very scientific method here - Elliot followed the R&R Cat Cast Twitter page back and liked several of the NSD retweets I did, so there's that.

Elliot isn't on the press release there.

Huh. Odd.

I would guess academics, but he has offers to the Ivy's so that doesn't make sense.

Maybe he's going to grey shirt?

He sure indicated he was a commit, so I'm befuddled.

I could totally be making this up, but I seem to remember reading about there being a limit to how many players a school can sign/announce during a signing period. And I'm pretty sure that number is 30.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I still think Elijah Elliot is coming. Maybe waiting till tonight to sign? Who knows but still believe he is part of this class and maybe MSU was getting a press release out just for the sake of getting it done

Can give aid to 30 incoming athletes per year.

There's several walk-ons within this class, so I think we'd be okay there.

If I recall, transfers don't count and I think one of these goes into last year's class.
Wondering about Elliot. Thought he would follow his brother to PSU but he wasn't a NLI to them today. And they had an interesting year. Losing 16 seniors and bringing in 19.

PSU signed seven student-athletes to National Letters of Intent during the early signing period and added 12 more on Wednesday. The Vikings brought in a total of 11 high schoolers and eight transfers to their roster for 2020.

For anyone that went to the signing day event. How was it? What was covered? Similar to years past where the staff gives an overview of each recruit?

Choate did talk about each recruit, told some funny stories, including one story about a recent recruiting visit he made to Missoula. Choate talked a bit about the future and he said that there is a defensive lineman transfer they have on the hook and are just waiting for him to clear through some bureaucratic processes before announcing his name.

Alex Singleton also talked a bit about his experience being a Bobcat, how special our fan base is, and the brotherhood he still experiences from his fellow players. Alex answered some questions too.
