The new OC is supposed to be announced by then. That person is scheduled to be at the Billings Quarterback Club meeting on Feb 5. Not sure if that's changed but that was the plan a week or so ago.

I wish there was a streaming option, would even pay for it.

Re: 2020 commitments (24) and offers
So after Davis committed, this is what our CB/S room looks like.
Greg Filer - CB - SR
Tyrel Thomas - CB - SR
Luke May - S - SR
Ty'Rhae Gibson - CB - JR
Keaton Anderson - S - JR
Ty Okada - DB - JR
Ty'Rese Gibson - CB - SO
Level Price - CB - SO
Eric Zambrano - CB - SO
Tylor Bohanon - DB - RF
Elijah King - DB - RF
Rylan Ortt - S - RF
Miles Jackson - CB - TF
Max Lenzy - CB - TF
Connor Ryan - S - TF
Devin Davis - CB - TF
At first I thought that our CB position was pretty overloaded, but it's not near as bad as I thought. It's a bit heavy, but db's get a lot of play. Really think we need more safeties. I would assume that some of the CB's will be moved to safety, but I don't know who.

Jeffrey Manning Jr. should be added to the list. Will be announced on signing day.bobcat99 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2020 2:17 pmSo after Davis committed, this is what our CB/S room looks like.

Looking at the number of db's, I'd be surprised if he came back. That's a lot of scholarships there.

Hard to say just how much scholarship aid is used by that group. There’s a difference between a full ride and full ride scholarship.

Filer, Thomas, Gibson's, Zambrano, Bohanon, King, Jackson, and Lenzy are for sure full scholarships. I would assume Okada, Ryan, and Davis all have at least partials, Davis in particular might have a full. It's a lot. Oh, and Manning has a full.iaafan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 8:03 amHard to say just how much scholarship aid is used by that group. There’s a difference between a full ride and full ride scholarship.
One could (and I would) that a scholarship to a DL would be a better usage than one towards Cole. No offense to the young man, he was a good player, but neck injuries are scary and we have a good CB room. For his own health, I think he should quit football.

I'm speculating based on common sense.iaafan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 9:45 amHow do you know for sure all those guys are full scholarship?bobcat99 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 9:15 amFiler, Thomas, Gibson's, Zambrano, Bohanon, King, Jackson, and Lenzy are for sure full scholarships. They had offers from other schools, they're out of state players so tuition is high, and I just don't think they come here without full rides. It's possible I'm wrong on a couple, but I'd be surprised.

I think they’re full rides, but I doubt they’re all full scholarship rides. I’m thinking some are getting other non-scholarship aid, such as Pell, which doesn’t count against the 65 scholarship limit.bobcat99 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 9:49 amI'm speculating based on common sense.iaafan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 9:45 amHow do you know for sure all those guys are full scholarship?bobcat99 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 9:15 amFiler, Thomas, Gibson's, Zambrano, Bohanon, King, Jackson, and Lenzy are for sure full scholarships. Regardless, we have a pretty full CB room, and some of those guys need to get on the field.
