I figured this was coming sooner then later. Great opportunity for DMAC. I appreciate everything he’s done for the program and university. The guy is Bobcat royalty.

However, this position will be a great experience for a future OC role. A great career move by Denarius. My prediction is MSU will have to compete for him as an OC in a few years.

Good for Denarius! Learn lots and come back home a la Kane Ioane!

Surprised he was here as long as he was.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 6:00 pmHowever, this position will be a great experience for a future OC role. A great career move by Denarius. My prediction is MSU will have to compete for him as an OC in a few years.
I'll state now that I will be surprised if he isn't a future HC. Hopefully here for a bit.

Yes. I am super happy for DeNarius. He is great coach and an even better person. I think he would have done great as our OC but this is definitely a great move for him. I doubt, however that we see him back in Bozeman. I don't think that happens very often but who knows.

Re: McGhee to the NFL
Could we be seeing a Kane Ioane 2.0 situation here?
Dennis Erickson takes over as OC for a year or two while McGee does this, then DM comes back to be OC once he’s ready?
I’m aware that is a looooong shot, but one can hope.....
Whatever happens, definitely happy for Denarius here, sounds like a hell of an opportunity.

Thanks for the memories and all your contributions to our program. Best wishes and may our paths cross again in the future.
While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

Definitely a thanks Denarius for all you have done at Montana State. Wish you well.
Denarius is a wonderful person.....I loved his recruiting.....opening up a line into Texas a bit. Wonder who will take over that linkage.

Damn! This really feels like 1982 to me. Losing Dmac now is exactly what many of us felt that year but a really good coach fell into it in Idaho and the rest is history...Damn! I wish the Corner Club was still theresuperbobcat wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 9:51 pmDo you really think Erickson and Coach Choate would be able to coexist?
