For the record I was torn between Dissley, Miller, and Moss, but went with Moss because I think there will be quite a bit of point production between all of our guards and wing players. Ie Miller , Dissley and all will most like split alot of the points. Inside though, Moss is heads and shoulders above the other inside players on the Roster. That said though I think we will be a very balanced scoring team and have 5 or more players indiivdually, lead the team in scoring on any given night.

My prediction
1 Moss
2 Miller
3 Disley

If I was guessing man I would think that:

Marvin Moss 16pt
Brandon miller 15pt
Dissley 14pt
Al beye 10pt
Ja ron 7pt
Frank brown 6pt
with the other 12 pt coming from the bench

I hope you are right about Beye, but I am not sure he will be in double digit scoring this year, but from what I hear he will probably lead the Big sky in block and altered shots.

BTW mentally mark Miller down for one more vote. I just got an email / pm from someone who disagrees with me but will not be voting

Cats hoop team had a tent in the tailgate area Saturday. I stopped by and saw a few of the newbies. Beye is 8'-10" if he's an inch. But he cant weight 220 soaking wet. All the kids were very nice and seemed excited (if not a little embarrassed) about all the attention they were getting.

Al Beye is a legit 6'11 defensive presence inside. I'm not sure about the 220 lbs soaking wet. He might only be 200 lbs but will be a defensive force inside for us this year. He looks like he might still need to improve offensively but should really help us this year.

Is that 6'11" as measured by a tape from the hardware store, or as measured by one of those shrunken tapes one finds around basketball locker rooms? I have seen the guy hanging around the football stadium, and he is officially "pretty tall".

19 VOTES !!!! Come on you lazy bums! We have over 318 community members and all we can come up with is 19 stinking votes, and 5 of them are from me (OK that is a joke) ! If the question was how many times will Kramer rub his bald head, this week end we would have well over 200 votes in the first hour!

Listen it is real easy. If you are reading this, just page up to the list of names with the round white dots. Move your curser over the dot of the person you believe will be high score. Alternately if you don't have any idea, move the curser over the guy dot who you think has the coolest name. Now CLICK.

Some more hints
Disley: is the leading returning scorer from last year.
Brown: is the best returning starter.
Miller: scored 18 pts. a game, made all the big shots for his JC team, and Durham loves him
Moss: Scored over 20 points and 10 rbs. a game and is an inside player.
Towsley: Unless you are a personal friend of him, would not be very prudent to vote for him.
Holmes: The future of the program
Casey Durham: Coaches son folks!!!!!

Now Do it!

BTW. I really think it is going to be tough to think of new ways to try to keep basketball on everybody's mind until November 6

I'll vote. But I'm what you'd call an uniformed voter. Your hints are all I know about cat BB. But if you want a Griz to vote I'll vote. dami$

Those of us who follow the program are probably just as ignorant. I don't know who half these guys are, but I voted. I voted for Dissly, because I know who he is and what he can do.

Like most of us I haven't seen any of the new guys on the court, but I voted for Miller based on what I've heard (at least third-hand info but others seem to have heard it too) about his shooting ability.

Ok 22 not bad, but don't make me put the Kramer Poll up!!

The whole idea is to predict. We have so many good quality new and returning I like the idea of doing, an in the " dark predictions" before any of us have seen them play, or to see how Durham will use the players. At the end of the season if someone like Holmes or Durr exploded this season it is kind of fun to look back. Besides if Towsley averaged 20 points wouldn't you all just love to ride me after all the pot shots I have taken at him.

Also this give me the oppurtunity to force a little basketball down your throat and make you think about it!

msla: If Towsley averages 20 points this year we'll all be far too busy staring at the pigs flying by our windows to remember what you said about him.

Edit: This is not intended as a criticism of Towsley, I just think there's no way in heck he averages anywhere near 20 points this year.

If Dissely, Miller and Moss each average 15 points or more per game, while Brown and the two centers, Towsle and Beye , combined average 15-20 points we will have a great offensive team. Then the question would be can they rebound and play defense.
