Re: Safety help?
Played the last two seasons at Oregon State. 6'1" 194 pounds. Three star coming out of high school. Held offers from thirteen FBS schools including San Diego St., UCLA, BYU, Utah, and Boise St. We had offered him as well. Looks like he has two years to play two? Great pickup if we indeed landed him. Looks like he was injured early in the season last year and only played four games at the end of the season. Entered the portal in November. From his bio on the Oregon State website:
2018 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN)
• Played in all 12 games, starting twice
• Made 35 tackles, with one TFL and one pass breakup
• Recorded a season-high seven tackles at Washington
• Finished with five tackles in back-to-back games at Arizona State and versus Washington State. Finished with a tackle for loss versus ASU
• Named Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention
2017 (FRESHMAN)
• Did not play, utilizing his redshirt season
CATHEDRAL HIGH SCHOOL
• Considered a top 100 prospect in the state of California by 247Sports
• No. 12 cornerback in the state of California and No. 57 overall in the country per Scout
• Highly recruited
• Transferred to Cathedral from Bellflower HS prior to his senior year
• Invited to play in the Army All-American Bowl
• Participated in several Nike Open Regional events
• Earned first team all-league on defense as a senior

While not "official" it looks like it -
Thought we may hear of transfers coming in as school starts at MSU on Monday.
This guy looks like a great addition

Retweeted lots of the people congrats to him. So it's not official it looks like it. And his picture on his main picture is of him in a Bobcat uniform.
Rest In peace dad.

Re: Safety help?
Great get, and much needed. Manning and Okada can bring some veteran stability to the safety position while young players have the opportunity to step up and make an impact.
Filer, Thomas, Okada, and Manning is a nice start to the secondary.

Re: Safety help?
Yep. Secondary looking solid so far with the Manning addition.
Love this signing.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Re: Safety help?
This looks like a very impactful addition. Immediate starter and contributor. Definitely makes me feel better about the hole that konkel and alleyne left behind.

Re: Safety help?
An interesting subplot to this is that we're at Oregon State to start 2021. Definitely can't hurt!

Re: Safety help?
I think that's in 2022, in which case Manning would be gone.

His twitter profile now says "Montana State Safety" so I believe he's ready to roll.

I take it Choate is out of town since there’s nothing official on this. Or we’re in a quiet period?

Re: Safety help?
Must be a paperwork hold-up OR he isn't transferring until next semester? Because I think MSU can announce whenever with FBS drop-downs. Wouldn't have to wait for a recruiting period to update. But that's just my guess.

I see the griz signed two Deb’s from Oregon State. Three seems to be pretty big loss numbers for OSU. I hope we landed the best of the bunch!
