WBB vs No. Colorado
Game starts at 7:00. Bears have a good team. Beat MSU here last year. Should be a good game. I’ll be there, you should be, too.
MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

heading over in a little bit. UNC has been a step better than MSU the last few seasons.

Coach Bin gets a T! Been to a lot of games. Never seen that. Refs won’t let Darian White play defense

It's a blowout for the Cats! Very impressive again.
Final is 91-58. MSU led by 8 at half and outscored them 46-21 in the second half!

All the ladies got in on the fun and it was great to see Madison Jackson shots starting to go in. She is lightning quick and fun to watch!

30 plus point beat down was nice to see. Darian White is the Tasmanian Devil. She wore them out. Our Idaho freshmen are very special players indeed. UNC has some size. About the only thing they did really well was offensive rebound. We gave up a ton, especially in the first half. But the second half was just a blowout. Much better than the NAU road game where we let them back in it.

#11 UCLA defeated Northern Colorado 92-58. I’m not meaning we are a UCLA, but we rocked the Bears as badly as the Bruins did, and we played #11 Texas A&M very closely until the last three minutes. This 2020 version of Coach Bin’s team is the real deal.

Re: WBB vs No. Colorado
After watching the ladies play tonight I started looking at plans to go to Boise. This team can be awesome. And for the first time in a LONG time I had no complaints about the way Trish coached during the game. I loved the T that she got. She needed to do that. Our player got a foul for basically playing hard defense. It was absolutely a ridiculous call. Great job Coach!
She admitted in her post game interview that it is tough for her to figure out how to use her players because she has so much bench depth. But I thought she handled that issue very well tonight. Darian White is a complete joy to watch. UNC had this one player who was very very good: Number 5. But she had an attitude. Darian would take her on with a smile on her face. It was as though she was saying to herself, "come on...bring it. You got nothing I can't handle or stop." Just love Darian's attitude. My only disappointment was, I really thought we would have a better crowd than we had tonight. Here we have the Big Sky preseason pick; the Big Sky preseason MVP (and Fallyn is playing like she deserves it) and the crowd was just okay. Kinda average. About the size crowd I would expect for an average, middle of the pack team.
All I can say is, Bobcat fans, you are really missing out. Really cheating yourself if you don't come out and support this outstanding team and group of young women. Go Cats Go.

Re: WBB vs No. Colorado
Wow! I picked a good night to go to a game.
I always proceed with some caution after games like that where a team shoots very well and scores a bunch late, but it’s a very good team. Great depth. They did a nice job finishing, especially on the heels of the NAU game (keep in mind they went from SAC, which is near sea level, to Flagstaff, which is nearly 7,000’).
Between freshmen White, Jackson and Bad Bear, MSU has a promising future. Bad Bear runs the floor very well and is athletic.
But stay in the present, because the current lineup is very good and should continue to improve as the season moves along.
The only knocks were they had some defensive rebounding issues and finishing shots issues. They also didn’t start out well defensively, which also happened early vs. NAU.
Like the football team, they appear to have the ability to wear opponents down. The minutes played per player was in sharp contrast, especially at halftime. Hintz and Isenbart had just 13 points combined after scoring 41 last game. Chapman had 10, but needed 17 shots to get them.

Re: WBB vs No. Colorado
Great Post. That crew was awful last night. The blonde with the ponytail never blew her whistle, and when she did it was late and wrong. The other two just had bad attitudes and it showed. The was a foul called by the dude in the second half that was clearly a common foul and he called it a shooting foul. There were two balls out of bounds that they clearly got wrong. I've never seen so many blown calls and the two in the first half on Darian were crazy-bad. All three were terrible ball watchers, weren't looking in there areas and never reffed the defense like we were always trained to do. Not sure how any of these three got to be college refs, but the pony-tail and the dude were particularly bad last night!!!aucat wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 1:44 amAfter watching the ladies play tonight I started looking at plans to go to Boise. Good on Trish for getting the girls and the crowd fired up with a T. It turned the game significantly.

Yeah, I made a few of the older ladies near me cringe a few times...but they also laughed. Bad refs do get me going.

Yeah I got some looks from my wife and daughter as well. I know I should be less vocal being a 30 year HS official (Retired) but thats what makes it even more frustrating for me. Many of the guys and gals I worked with are WAY better than what the BSC puts out there, and it's not even close. AND they get paid a hell of a lot more!!!
