WBB at NAU

Post by TomCat88 » Mon Dec 30, 2019 7:53 pm

Got off to a slow start, down 9-2 and 12-6, but tied after one 16-16. Squires is slumping. After tough shooting night vs. SAC, she's 0-4 tonight so far.

Feels like MSU is in control, but only up 30-24 thanks to get out of the gate slow. 28-15 since being down 9-2.

27 point third quarter for MSU. Now up 57-41. Freije with 10 points and Squires with 9 in the quarter.

Stone cold in fourth. Only four points halfway through. Lead down to 10.

Ladies are falling apart now. Lead is just six with 3:55 to play. Only four points so far in fourth quarter after a 27-point third quarter. Go figure!

And they do, 72-64. Fallyn had a great game. 20 and 10. Kuderer was just 1 for 9, but had four assists. Squires was 4-12, but made 3 3s and hit a key shot and a pair of FTs down the stretch.

Senior laden team win- think Jackson is going to be a key piece to the puzzle going forward.

Did anyone successfully watch this game? NAU not allowed to feed PlutoTV so had to watch on watchbigsky.com. First half the video and audio were jerk jerk jerk. Unwatchable. The second half everything went black. I guess that was how it was fixed. This really, really gets old. Sigh.

I didn't watch it, but I could tell that I didn't want to watch it. I hate games like that where someone blows a big lead. I don't even like it when it's two teams I don't care about that are playing. Just sucks to see anyone lose that way.

So NAU won't let Pluto carry any of their games in Flagstaff? What is the reason for that? Pluto has shown NAU home games the last few years, so what has changed since then?

Really impressed with Jackson and White so far. We're going to be in good hands after this senior class and with our 2020 signings.
