Don't you be stealing my players now. I been talking about him! Brown is a legit deep threat. He has good enough size.technoCat wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 3:00 pmProbably a little more like Wilson(#11) from APSU.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 2:51 pmCharles certainly flashes to make defenses pay in a variety of ways whether its speed or contested catch ability.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 2:47 pmSo kind of like Juwan Green from U Albany?VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 2:44 pmI know its early and things really don't come into focus until fall camp next year, but Charles Brown is the best player in this class in my opinion. He will require teams to have a deep safety at all times. He changes our offense completely.

Just watched his hudl and he looks great. But his QB is class of 2022 and whoa, kids got a cannon. First play is 50 yd bomb from the endzone. Later he throws an out route that Brown houses, rope.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 2:44 pmI know its early and things really don't come into focus until fall camp next year, but Charles Brown is the best player in this class in my opinion. There was a picture of the Press Release for Signing day on Twitter. Looks like Charles Brown will be enrolling in January, and then I assume participating in Spring Ball.bobcat99 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 3:07 pmDon't you be stealing my players now. Per the Press Release, they have Brody on the DL. So now we've heard DL, QB, LB, and S.

Only have 2 transfers out of 23 signees. It would seem that Choate likes the depth on the team, otherwise we would see more transfers.

I've heard we will see more transfer activity in the second signing period. Absolutely not done in that area yet. Remember, even if the coaches like the depth, you have to hedge for attrition.

He has also said it is his task "to get the best players possible" - competition and depth is needed to win the playoffs.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 4:30 pmI've heard we will see more transfer activity in the second signing period. Have we ever had an early enrollee out of HS before? I can't remember one. That's awesome!
Gets a head start on the playbook, acclimating to college, and the weight room. He's gonna push for playing time.

Question
So going into today we had 20 commits that had verballed, but they could still bail. (Example: Grady)
But today they signed letters of intent if I understand correctly
Question: is this just as easy to bail on? And if it isn't, how many of our 23 have now given written commitments?
Would it be possible to note who has just verballed vs giving there written

I'm pretty sure if you've signed your NLI and want to play ball that year, you're locked in for that year unless the school releases you.sdsyvie wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 6:11 pmQuestion
