If anyone hasn't noticed the Cats have a case of Jekyll and Hyde when playing at home vs playing on the road. They surprised even me this weekend with the final score. That being said the Cats are now on the road for two straight weeks which should scare the hell out of everyone. Based on UNCU's record this season this should be a victory for the Cats. However, based on the history of the Cats road game performances that may not be the case. But of course I'm gonna go with the Cats in this one in yet another road game nail biter.

It’s so strange, but MSU never plays well there. I think once back in like 2009, but that’s it. 2007 was crippling. Would’ve been 6-2 with good shot at playoffs. Lost at home the next week to a mediocre NAU.

Couple all that with them playing good at home. Lost by 8 to SoDak, beat Idaho and lost to PSU by 8.

Just a weird setting. Holds about 5,000. Not sure where the locker rooms are. Hopefully W. Illinois prepared them for this.

Cats defense is rolling. Cats beat UNC in Greeley Choates first year and that UNC actually ended up with a winning record. I think this Cats team stays strong and wins a lopsided one.

It's just nuts. In 2011, MSU rolls in at 6-1 and UNC is 0-7. It was 24-21 midway through the fourth quarter, won 31-21. In 2013, MSU was 6-2 and UNC 1-7. Up 27-14 early third quarter, but fell behind 28-27 before scoring and winning 35-28, and then lost the next three games to miss playoffs. In 2007, MSU gave the Bears their only win of the year! Ugh.

The 2017 game was close, but a little more understandably. Still MSU doubled them up in total yards 519 to 259, but had to come back from 21-7 down at halftime.

If MSU plays like it did before the SUU game, it's gonna be another one of those 'house of horrors' games: MSU 26, UNC 23.
If MSU plays like it's capable and the defense keeps smothering teams, which they need to do going into final two: MSU 38, UNC 10.
