Ha ha, I don't know if any reasonable person could watch that clip and argue the QB wasn't being forced to the ground? However, I did a quick search and per the rule, maybe that technically isn't illegal to slam the QB to the ground even though I know the game had migrated more towards protecting the QBs. Any officials on here care to weigh in? Now I'm curious.

Situational. Does the R feel that the QB is being forced to the ground? If so then yes it is UNR. Does the R feel that the act happened as part of the tackle? Then clean. You can see it going both ways on a play like that and both can be correct

"Hass scored 20 times in 1966, all on the ground. That remains a school record, and was a Big Sky record until 1991."
I assume this was a copy/pasted from last year, as this statement is no longer accurate.

it’s probably still the regular season record. Unless he scored in a bowl game. They didn’t used to count post season with regular season records. So Hass probably still holds the record.

I guess 21 days before the season starts is retired with Don Hass, although they had a write up about him, they didn't acknowledge it 21days out.
I guess they got bored!

They were doing so well. I really thought they'd make it all the way this year!
Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.
