Just curious to see which way everyone is leaning at this point in the coaching search. Let me know in the poll!

McCollum is an adaptive, successful HC.

It's best not to over think things sometimes.

I am really really surprised that Shaw only has 1 vote so far. I would honestly be OK with Sprinkle, Shaw, or McCollum.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

I was with you, I thought he had the most impressive resume of the candidates, I remember reading something this weekend that said he withdrew his name is why I didn't vote for him.

I looked at the WSU board and there was nothing there about Shaw.

I got this from someone in the coaching ranks. I feel confident about the info, but it technically rumor so I could be wrong.

Shaw does have a great resume, but having a little more youthful coach is more appealing to me personally (I would guess he is close to 60).
He is still listed as the head coach on Western Oregon's website.

If people like Shaw, how about Ben McCollum? The dude's overall head coaching record is 241–75 (.763) with 2 DII national championships at the age of 37 years. I like Danny, but this dude has a legit resume.

2× NCAA Division II national championships (2017, 2019)
7× MIAA regular season championships (2012, 2014–2019)
4× MIAA Tournament championships (2016–2019)
Awards
2× NABC Division II Coach of the Year (2017, 2019)
Clarence Gaines National Coach of the Year (2012)
4× MIAA Coach of the Year (2012, 2015–2017)

Good point, if you slash all of those accomplishments in half and he only brings 1 national championship, 3 BSC season championships and 2 BSC tournament championships over the next 10 years I would probably be happy with that....

Is that with some redickerous bonuses for making the championship game twice in 3 years?? Otherwise I don't understand how a D2 school can afford that much.

According to the State of Missouri's 2017-2018 Personal report:
McCollum, Benjamin, head men’s basketball coach, $145,000

For a little more perspective; the University of Missouri head basketball coach:
Martin, Cuonzo, head coach, $300,000
