NBC Dateline on a 96 murder in Geraldine...

Post by RickRund » Fri Jan 08, 2016 11:31 pm

So far pretty interesting. Will be curious if there is an outcome.

A couple of months ago was the story of the Missoula murder that I think was the one covered here on BobcatNation. ..

Glendive murder and Barry Beach case have also been on. Lots of Montana storylines for Dateline.

Was the Glendive murder the young girl? And was it on a Reservation? If I remember correctly the "prime suspect" was a lady, a heavy drug user???

As I recall, I figured Beach was innocent.

Good chance you will see a story on Miles City and Missoula murders in the recent month.
Very poor police work by Miles City police department in not warning the public prior to the Missoula murder. MC police chief quoted in press release as saying suspect Scott Price was not a threat to the public then claiming credit for Price's capture in Couer D Alene by Law Enforcement there that were informed by Missoula Police and US Marshal's office.

All could have been avoided had Miles City parole officers picked up Price on his Dec. 3rd warrant assigned to Custer County. Now there is talk of Custer County Attorney Wyatt Glade possibly not pursuing a murder charge due to cost to the county!
