Re: cannon?
They moved it so that it is in the triangle in the corner facing the field. it made a little difference

Re: cannon?
One of my friends noticed the cannon was quieter at the first game. His son wanted to see the cannon, so they went over to watch it fire. He asked them, and they told him they were not issued as many of the normal loads and have to use those for something else (I forget what, but for some training or official use). They were using 10 gauge blanks for the games if I recall correctly.

Re: cannon?
I remember when I was a kid that the same fireworks that were used to usher the team out last saturday, used to be used when the CATS scored. Ever since then, whenever I heard those loud bangers, I would always mumble to myself "Touchdown Bobcats"

Re: cannon?
Seemed loud enough at the EWU game. It scared the heck out of my 4 1/2 year old son. He wanted to go back to Billings. LOL We sat in the end zone.
