The Bobcat Nation

We are just about to begin the process of splitting the boards out into more well defined categories(Bobcat Football, Bobcat Basketball, etc.). I have a few more things to clean-up and then you'll probably see a lot of new boards and the old boards while we migrate everything. You'll probably start to see old threads "disappear", but it is just part of us moving them and they will all be available again soon. When the new boards do start showing up, please use them and we'll work hard to get everything moved quickly.

You guys are the Kings, thanks for all the work.

Yes, you probably will see it in the new boards now. Some other mod got a little excited and started moving new threads before they were viewable by the general public. Hopefully you can see almost all of the newer posts now, but we still have some sorting to do with the Bobcat and the college sports stuff.

So...what does everybody think? Is this better?

We still have 10,000 posts to sort from the old Athletics and College Sports boards, but we'll slowly get all that moved over in the coming days and weeks.

Just an idea...But how about just splitting up the Bobcat Sports area into Men's and Women's? You would not have to sort through a ton of stuff and it would clean up that section a little bit. (Not gonna lie, I thought of ejizz when I saw the new format)

We got quite a bit of feedback before for people asking specifically for a Football section and a MBB section so that is why we went that route. If a bunch of feedback comes in that they'd prefer to have a Men's and Women's section rather than the 3 we have we'll take that into consideration.

As an admin on another board (not sports related) I don't envy your having to move 10,000 posts into the appropriate forum. Once again- Thanks!!

Looks good - my only suggestion would be to put men's & women's basketball in the same forum, but that's not a huge issue. The new "other sports" forums separated out into HS, College, and Pro are much less confusing than the old board categories.

I am old enough where I don't like change, but this is a great job, and I can still crawl my way around in here without getting lost.

I like that as well, in the past HS and Pro stuff usually ended up in the Hangout because they really didn't fit anywhere else.
