Sprint expanding in MT?

With a lot of self-interest (I just bought an ESPN phone last week, and I work for a company affiliated with that product), I noted this press release from Sprint:

I looked at the Alltel site, and it looks like they have extensive coverage in MT. Historically, Sprint (upon which Mobile ESPN operates) has had very little service in MT, Bozeman being one of the recent exceptions. I am wondering if this new agreement will allow most Montanans to use Sprint-based services if they wish and, of vital interest to me, if my phone will now work in most of MT.

If anybody has any insight into this, I'd really like to learn more about the implications.
