Seriously, no wonder people would rather watch Comedy Central's Daily Show for their news. At least they don't pretend to have any jounalistic integrity...and they are actually funny!

Edit to add, I was going to put this in the existing VP shooting thread, but didn't want to take it too off topic.

In defense of the MSM as a whole, that looks to be from Keith Olberman's show (formerly known as "the funny one" from Sportscenter), so I doubt they were carrying on the interview in a truly serious mode. His show is like Daily Show light.

It is from Olberman's show so I will grant you that. But to see something like that from a "real" jounalist is just dumb and it wasn't even funny. Leave the comedy to the professionals and stick to what you know.

I'm not sure that he considers himself a real journalist. At least, what little I've seen of the show is quite tongue in cheek. I didn't watch the video, though, so I'm not sure if they were playing this funny or straight. If straight ... yeah, it's a strange gag.

The photo makes me think of "Strange Brew."

I was referring to Millbank, no Olberman. I don't know, maybe it is just me, but like I said that is something I expect to on the Daily Show, not MSNBC with a Washington Post reporter dressing up like an idiot to mock something.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I have a bizarre lust thing for Malkin. I would totally respect anyone going to the site if they were just going to look at her picture, but if it is to read the content ... then things get more confusing.

I know, I know ... I'm wierd. I just have a thing for kind of cute women who are really mean. I finally took a break from that model with my fiance (she's not mean), but I still have a history with that type that I just can't deny.

Nope, don't go to that site, but I heard about this stupid "bit" from a couple other sources and this one was the first one I found that had the video clip, that's all. Interesting the sites you come up with and get cross-referenced into in this age of blogs.

I think "Nazi" is hyperbole, but Coulter does have very extreme views, and she presents her arguments in a way that alienates a lot of people (including me). My favorite quote of hers (the one I always reference to illustrate why I don't like her) is when she referred to all members of Congress who opposed the Iraq war as the "Treason Lobby."

I understand the hyperbole. I like to challenge people who throw the term around about conservatives in an effort to discredit them. Calling people like Coulter a Nazi shows a person's ignorance on what the National Socialist Party (Nazi) really was and did. I know it's used in a derogatory manner but it's just ridiculous to use it.

Incidently, my grandfather was held in a Nazi POW camp from 1940 to 1945. He was a huge influence on my conservative political views and I can assure you he hated Nazis.

I agree ... Nazi is way overused by everybody, and it dimishes the memory of how bad they really were.

Coulter is more literally described as a Fascist.
