Why do you or don't you wear a mask when you are not able to properly social distance?

If the place of business asks that I wear a mask and I want to do business there I comply.

I don't when I'm going for a run, driving, etc...

But I do put it on when I go to the store or wherever I'm going. Usually not anywhere that long anyway so it doesn't matter.

Distancing > Masking. If I can’t distance, I’m happy to wear a mask.

No mask here except for Costco. I meet with the Chief of Staff from the hospital here approximately once a week. He never wears a mask and he is the first to extend his hand to shake yours. Maybe he is drumming up business or maybe he knows what a scam the masks are.

I do whenever I go into a store or restaurant or situations when I may be in close proximity to others. My thinking is it isn't that much of an inconvenience and having graduated from MSU in microbiology I do understand the COVID means of transmission.

So, I can be counted among the conservatives that mask up. If it helps even a small amount, why not do it? if not for yourself then for the sake of others.
