Anybody been? I'm going there this summer for my honeymoon and am going to bring my gear. I will be close to Acadia National Park. Any recommendations?

We are actually staying in Bar Harbor for a couple nights. Is it mainly salt water fishing, or are their streams and rivers to fish as well?

I went there in 1996 for a little road trip when I was working in Philly. I brought my scuba and spear fishing gear. It was December and there was not a fish in sight, apparently they move back to the coastal waters when the water warms up. Totally different than the west coast constant temperature water. I would think there would be some fly fishing in some of the many creeks and rivers in the interior of Maine. Try a black fly, it is almost as bad as Canada for those little buggers.

My sister and family live in Maine, so I've traveled there many times. It's a nice state, but I think most of us who live in states like Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, etc find it over rated. Acadia is a nice park, but I see beauty like that within a 2 minute walk of my home. Bar Harbor is a really nice town (albeit touristy, as you would imagine).
As far as fly fishing, there's some decent places and you'll certainly enjoy it, but no world class streams. Bring your Deet. Seriously.
Congrats on the nuptials CC!!

Go north. A 10-15 pound brookie from any of the Hudson Bay Rivers or steams will make you miss Henry's Lake (and some secret streams and ponds near Dillon) for about five minutes. And besides, if you are on your horneymoon, why do you give a rats arse about fishing unless it's for Blue Marlin?
