"A U.S. team source told Yahoo! Sports that the standard waterproofs, provided by Montana-based company Sun Mountain, were holding too much liquid and thus weighed down players and caddies alike. Captain Pavin had been alerted to the problem by the time the opening pair of Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson had reached the second green, and an emergency plan was put into action."
Dang it, now we screwed up the Ryder Cup team.

I read that this morning and my heart sunk. I love sun mountain equipment and I have never heard anyone put them down. I own a sun mountain golf bag and its been GREAT. Those coats though, hideous.
I think you don't get it. Sleeping in until 6 won't get many people very far in life, especially if they want to play on Sunday.

It's just me. But I think when you make gear that's waterproof, you make the sure of the "proof" part.

ya this is not going to be good for them. they had such an opportunity to do big things and it completely backfired! they were still talking about it last night when i was watching at about 12:30. corey pavin said the us team had to buy all their stuff from the pro shop on the course! oops.

do you have to know everything to post here? or just think you do?
