I am just curious if anyone has any direct knowledge of how well Peter Fields and Waded Cruzado are working together. I know she has a pretty good reputation of being pro-athletics and is aggressively promoting the Cats to the various interest groups (QBC, BC).

This is a bit of a departure from the more reserved Gamble-Fields approach.

I'm just curious what you think Cruzado might be envisioning for our Athletic Department. Do you think she is considering a bit of a makeover or do you think she is confident in the current direction and leadership? This is not intended to be a bash Fields thread, that has been debated over and over.

I think she is going to push him out of his comfort zone. From people I have talked to she is a get out and talk to people type of person and wants him out and about meeting with people and pushing our athletic programs. I don't think this is his strong suit and will be interesting to see if he can meet her expectations.

I hope that she is asking/telling him to do this. It would only help the athletic dept to have Peter meeting people.

My guess it isn't gonna happen. Cruzado is a people person and Fields has never been one unless you are giving him a check.

Fields is a beancounter, what do you expect?

Coach Ash has mentioned that he REALLY likes President Cruzado. One thing that was mentioned is that she has come in and gotten everyone on the same page.
