no it's not near the damage caused in billings last week but anyone else get nailed as hard as i did with the hail? bad enough that i made the kids go in the bathroom. good thing too as it shattered windows all over in my house.

no one hurt in my house but the cleanup is going to be annoying.

I had just left campus. Thankfully, I was right at College and 11th so I was able to park under one of the overhangs at the gas station next to Joe's so my car only has a couple of dents. My roommate works at the Wells Fargo building and said there are shattered windshields and solid damage to a lot of cars in the lot. He was lucky with some dents and a busted taillight. Said it looked like a drive-by. Good luck with the cleanup WTG.

I overheard someone say, "Big hail coming.." so I took the car home. It hit just as I pulled into the garage. I see lots of dents on cars around bozeman. I hear that windows were broken around town, which is easy to believe.

I have a bunch of dents and a hole in my tail light. Could have been worse. There is nothing wrong with my glass on the car, which is good. Sadly, its extremely depressing regardless.

Our house made it out just fine but we live on the far west side of town and it must not have gotten hit as bad. My wife and I's cars are a different story. We both were in town and they both look like giant golf balls now. My windshield needs replaced and her back window was completly smashed in. Every street I drove down had houses with shattered windows And if your house was facing West or had Vinal Paneling I have a feeling your house isn't looking the best today.

Ya - and just imagine... could have been worse. Can you imagine a hailstone with a diameter of 7 inches, couple pounds, coming down on you? Wiki says that's the largest documented hailstone.

and it was bigger than golf ball sized in some areas too. i'm not joking, i was watching these things fly at my widnows like darts and some of them were huge. i'm not gonna say baseball size cause i personally didn't see any that big...but i saw many bigger than golf balls. when glass started shattering i ran for cover!
on a side note...let me say it didn't do much for the greens on bridger creek either. otherwise i woulda been dropping putts today like crazy.

That was quite a storm. My car took some hits (and has many dents to show from it), and I need a new windshield. That's not an uncommon problem around here after yesterday. However, the MSU plates that I've had for a long time are still intact. It's inconvenient, but it could have been a lot worse.

I guess there was raquet-ball sized hail here two weekends ago in the heights - so it does happen. My science teacher freshman year of high school told us a story about getting hit by a hailstone the size of a softball as he was diving under a pickup to take cover - dislocated his shoulder!

Yeah I had raquetball size hail fall in the heights that damaged my house pretty bad. The Adjuster is finally making it over this weekend! (State Farm had 2000 claims or something like that). All I know is I would not want to get hit by one of those as it punched holes right through a thick plastic cooler I had sitting out back.
