That game looks awesome.

On another note I got Red Dead Redemption yesterday and it is pretty sweet. I guess I'm a video game nerd!

This one was made by Treyarch, which is know for the lesser versions of COD. Like COD3 (awful) and COD:World at War (never played). It wasn't made by Infinity Ward which made Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2, which were amazing. Infinity Ward had a HUGE fallout with Activision, so will see if the final chapter of Modern Warfare will be made by them. This game looks good, but I'm a little skittish to see what the reviews are because I've hated most Treyarch produced versions. I guess we'll see.

I think you don't get it. Sleeping in until 6 won't get many people very far in life, especially if they want to play on Sunday.

World at War was pretty badass.

Agreed but the online play was awesome and about as perfect as you can make it.

MWII online has so much stuff going on with bombs, missiles, gunships that when playing a decent team you can hardly move.

Get yourself a copy of Battlefield Bad Company 2 then. Much better pace & strategy than MW2's twitchy shooter nonsense.

CC I played BC2 and slightly prefer MWII.

Both good games

I just got MW2 and beat it in about 15 hours over about a weeks time. WAYYY to easy.

Online play is good but the gamers on there are ridiculous. How anybody has time to become that good at a game is beyond me.

I love the old school Call of Duties. They were amazing.

You just described me early in college haha. I would try to play on the LAN Counter-Strike but everyone would always leave and accuse me of cheating. When you have no girlfriend, skip most of your classes & don't party... of course all that changed, for better or worse. I get smoked most of the time online nowadays, but I blame trying to play FPS on a God-forsaken controller instead of a mouse & keyboard.

Lol i probably played against you. I blame kids not getting outside enough. I've never been a$$whoped by a 10 year old kid until i get online. I am starting to get OK at MW2 online. Can't wait to throw it in there fat faces.

My freshman year of college I had a roommate, from Helena, that played Counter-Strike 24/7. Game was ridiculous. I play MW2 every once in a while but am pretty bad at shooting games. If I have equal amount of deaths and kills I am pleased. I have a friend that usually goes 25-5. Madden and Fifa are where its at.

QFT. All of it. Except I still refuse to play on a console, and I'm far better now that I was in college. Don't play nearly as much as I used to, but I still enjoy a couple hours of Counter-Strike: Source every once in a while.

I was probably in on the LAN CS games when you were, CC. I think we were in school around the same time - I was a freshman in '02.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

I was a freshman in 01', so I'm sure we were. I can't remember my handle, it was probably celticmoose.

We had a LAN party one night up in Langford one year. Everyone kept coming over to my PC to make sure I wasn't cheating. Apparently no one else realized that if you use a good pair of headphones, you can pretty much pinpoint someone's location and blast em through the wall. The sad part was this was before I got really good, when I started playing with CAL players and eventually played a couple seasons in CAL.

I would still be a PC gamer, but I got tired of trying to update my PC to keep it current. Bought a PS3 brand new for $200 and honestly have never looked back.
