Sportsman's Night Out in Bozeman

Post by catzz » Wed Apr 14, 2010 9:44 pm

For those in the area that enjoy the outdoors take a look at the event we our hosting next week.. My buddy (who is an MSU athlete) and I started up a MSU College Chapter of Ducks Unlimited last year after attending an event hosted by the UM College Chapter of Ducks Unlimited two years ago. Are goal last year was to have a bigger and better event and raise more money for wetlands conservation then the griz did... We did just that! 220 people attended our Sportsman's Night Out last year and it was a huge success.

So...

Whether you hunt, fish, or just enjoy the outdoors, you will not want to miss the upcoming Sportsman's Night Out hosted by the local College Chapter of DU. The finest names in hunting, fishing, and camping equipment will be available. This will be a raffle-mostly event with BBQ style dinner to make the night complete. No live auction, no fancy sit down meal, just lots of fun with friends and drinks as we raise money for the wetlands conservation.

Tickets are $25 and must be purchased in advance! Just for walking in the door you have a chance to win a free gun! Also, wear hunters orange or camo to have a chance to win another free gun! Your ticket will cover dinner, a year membership to Ducks Unlimited (with magazine), and an opportunity to win a handful of door prizes! This year we have more raffle items, decoys, and guns! Come join us for a fun filled night that you won't forget!

Tickets must be purchased in advance at:

Sounds like a cool event. Do you know if there is a student version of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation?

Nope, I do not believe there is a student version of Rocky Mountain Elk.. Now, we are a committee made up of entirely students but our event is not for just students.. I would say around 30% of attendees from last year were students. With our committee we strive to bring outdoor enthusiasts from all directions together to raise money for wetlands conservation. After all, our area wetlands do benefit far more then just ducks..
