Do you think it was a right decision to wait for Tadej following the crash with under 4k to go?
Yeah I think so. Don't want to poke the bear too hard it'd backfire.

Today the Pyrenees are going to really show the pretenders and the contenders. I rode 2/3’s of the Hautacam back in the day, and it’s steep, narrow and unrelenting. Going to be a fun stage today!

Watching Tadej is like watching Tiger woods in 2000 or Michael Phelps in 2008. Its special.

Watching Tadej as he goes up the Hautacam with 2 or 3 cogs left whereas Vingegaard was on his biggest cog with no more gears left. Cadence wasn't that must lower for Tadej either. The guy is a freak! Climbing those grades with gears left is amazing for this Clydesdale.

Jorgensen had a bad day. Only 10th in the GC now. Hope he bounces back.

With the caveat that “anything can still happen”…it’s likely the Tour has been decided for Yellow! To have over 3 minutes over his closest rival with 4 more big mountain stages ahead only means this could be a record setting deficit from first to second once the race lands in Paris! So now, I’m curious to see what Visma will do with the likes of Sepp Kuss and Mateo Jorgensen. Will this become prep for the Vuelta, or will they race to get one more on the podium?

How is Team U.S. Postal Service doing this year? Can you tell I haven't watched the Tour de France much since the Lance Armstrong years? I should really try and get back into it next year, a lot of fun to watch those guys race.

I’m pulling for Quinn Simmons to get a stage win. He’s been knocking on the door for just about every stage.

Good race for the white jersey. Lipowitz has been a revelation.
Green is tightening up. Vander Poel might still be in the running.
The polka dots is also tight. Tadej will probably win that one by accident. I don't think Martinez has the horse power, but I'm rooting for him.
GC is done and dusted barring crash, injury, or illness.
I wish they'd turn Sepp Kuss loose, but they have to protect second place and Sepp will be a big part of that.

Quinn has certainly animated the race. Thought he might have miss timed his attacks a bit today. But who knows - I’m not a race director. Would be cool to see the Stars and Stripes win a stage.

He always does all the work and is gassed at the end. Wellens sucked wheels all day and then attacks and wins.

Exactly. Quinn made a smart remark about just that in post race.
