Is anyone else using Google Chrome. I just downloaded it this past weekend and I am absolutely in love with it! Way faster and easier to use than IE or Firefox(I've never liked Firefox).
So, for anyone who might be dissatisfied with your web browser I definitely would recommend giving it a shot. Plus you're going to have way less typos when posting here on the nation. Built in Spell Check is part of the software so it will correct for you as you go.
Is there anyone a bit more computer savvy than me that could tell me why I shouldn't be using Chrome though? All the reviews I've read say that Chrome is just as safe and secure as IE or FF.....anything else I should know??

Re: Google Chrome
It' my understanding the Firefox is the safer browser as compared to IE. I love Firefox as opposed to IE. I don't see any difference in speed between those two. How a Google Chrome would be faster would be interesting to get some insight about. A Favorite browser poll might be fun.
I'd be interested to hear what those who are more expert on this topic think.

Re: Google Chrome
What I'm finding that is making Chrome so much faster is that it's completely simplified and seems to be more compatible with Anti-Virus programs (McAfee, Norton). I've tried all three web browsers with such sights as Youtube and even Bobcatnation. Chrome keeps blowing the other two out of the water! I don't think I'll ever go back to IE.

Re: Google Chrome
I want to try the Google Chrome OS. I already use Ubuntu so it shouldn't be much of a stretch. It might be the next big thing if everyone starts using cloud computing.

As I understand it, the Chrome OS is targeted more for netbooks and designed more for cloud computing. http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/07/ ... me-os.htmlseataccat wrote:I want to try the Google Chrome OS. I really love the Chrome browser and Google pack applications. They probably account for 95% of my personal computer use. Pair that with my Google Android phone and I'm way more connected than I ever need to be. But sometimes I worry how much I rely on Google for everything.
