Passing of JC69

Some of you may have had the opportunity to get to know JC69 through this board, or through the many pictures of the Bobcat football games he often posted on this site and others. I am sad to announce that JC69 passed away two weeks ago from a long illness. He will be greatly missed.
JC69 loved to attend the games, and could often been seen standing on the sidelines and in the endzone with his camera snapping hundreds of photos at a time of each game he attended. His highlight (WRT Bobcat Football) was having one of his photos printed in an official Bobcat football program.
Love ya Dad.

JC69 had a lot of nice things to say about the people he'd met through his photography to include (but not limited to) kmax, the Jensens, the Retorianos, and many others I can't remember but who he told me about.
My brothers and I would also like to extend our thanks to Jim Lambert for providing our dad with field passes throughout the years so that he could continue to pursue two of his passions: MSU football and photography.

Jesus. Stuff like this always hits hard. I never met him (although I probably should have) but he passed along some good knowledge and info about photography. I had the pleasure of purchasing a picture from him of the Cats and I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with him. I am terribly sorry to hear about the loss. I hope your family is coping as well as they can.
RIP

Please accept my condolences, as well. I loved his photos so much and looked forward to them every week. I ordered several photos from him in December of 2007 and made a huge collage for my son. It's still one of his favorite presents ever and he shows everyone who comes to our house. JC69 charged me such a low amount for the pictures - it was robbery, really! I threw in some extra to show my appreciation, but I'm not sure he ever knew how much those pictures meant to my son. He will be missed.
