On our honeymoon, spent 3 days in Barcelona. Then flew to Lyon, France, and spent 2 days up in Chablis. Currently in Beaune for 2 days, then Beaujolais, then Lyon for 2 days. Finally back to Barcelona Saturday to watch Cat/griz (we are a house divided)
We just left Spain, then 10 days in Ireland. Now in Wales, England tomorrow, flying home the 23rd. We started this trip on June 21 to Singapore. Good to be coming home.
We will probably be on the same plane into Bozeman on the 23rd!

Nope, I go to Helena. I get to Slc around 2, then I’m on the late flight into Helena, arrive about 11. Long day in airports.

Forgot to do this for my last two trips.

Wisconsin (Green Bay, Madison, and Milwaukee) on a bunch of supplier visits in late March. Wisconsonians are a great group of folks!

Tucson for a quick two days trip on a technical visit. First Whataburger ever! Their spicy ketchup is THE BOMB. Reminds me, I gotta buy some, Walmart supposedly carries it...

This week, I'm in Nashville for Fastener Fair. Jack's on Broadway has the best 'Que, I've EVER had, bar none. If you ever go, get the pork shoulder, it's outstanding. And of course the live music scene is great, always something going in. And as a side note - I've been married for a decade now and we aren't big into the bar or party scene - holy smokes, it's free the tatas nowadays with this newest youngest generation of the fairer gender... Were push-ups an early 2000's thing, is it just because Nashville is a party town in the south? Asking for a friend.

This thread has been neglected for far too long.

Forgot to post in February when I was in Chile earlier this year, but I have a good excuse. Got gastro and it caused heart inflammation, which mimics symptoms of a heart attack. Spent a very long 3.5 days in the hospital in Antofagasta before they would clear me to fly home. I highly doubt anyone has ever posted on BN from there!

Currently, I'm sitting in Narita airport in Tokyo, awaiting my flight to Shanghai. First time going to China, a bit uneasy about it. Won't post while I'm in China, as we've been advised not to use our personal phones there. Wish me luck!

Well I understand they’ve got some good 7’2” kids wanting to play basketball. Scout em out. Take pictures with a burner phone and send em to Coach Logie when you get back! 😁

And good luck!!!

Gonna be a busy next 10 days... Business trip to Europe, first time I've been in this part of the world! Flew into Bilbao Spain today, visited a new supplier. Staying on the Northern Coast town of Zaurautz tonight. In the heart of Basque county, salt of the earth, hardworking people. I can't wait to eat legit Basque food tonight...!

Will post more on my travels as we work our way east!

Speaking of Basque food (??legit??), it you are ever in the Reno area or Winnemucca NV, they both have a pretty good Basque food places. Reno's is just off of downtown and Winnemucca's is on hwy 95, I believe, the back way to southern Idaho. Been ages, guess they are still open, but tasted great? Legit?????

Didn't get a chance to post yesterday, we were going all day. Flew into Bologna, Italy late Thursday night. Supplier visit Friday. Boarded the train for Innsbruck that afternoon, just doing some sightseeing here today before boarding another train bound for Munich this afternoon. If you've never done it, take the the Deutsche Bahn train from Italy to Germany. Breathtaking views and spring is beautiful without being overly crowded. Great weather right now as well, sunny and 60's/70's.

Guten Tag from Germany! Toured the Dachau Concentration Camp for nearly 4 hours today. We were running short on time but could have easily spent the whole day there. Was the "model" camp for many other camps built during the Third Reich. It is a sobering experience that's not to be missed if you're ever in the area.

Martin Hotel in Winnemucca and The Star in Elko. There's also a place in the not great part of downtown Reno that's good.
