Pence still holds the tie-breaking vote, but it may not matter if Romney, Murkowski, Sasse, Toomey and ?? flip.

Seems like an epic waste of time, just like last time. Let's just focus on things that will make the country better.

I think you need a 2/3rds majority. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Yes- 2/3rds.
McConnel said it wouldn't even be discussed until after Jan. 20.
The impeachment will take away Trump's benefits (travel dollars, stipend, etc.) and keep him from running for federal office in the future.
