Re: VOTE!
As of yesterday 59% of the voters (76.5 million) from 2016 have voted. I wonder what percentage of the 2016 total had voted this early.

Re: VOTE!
I'm having trouble completely understanding the "Hey everyone...go vote!" narrative. (or the title to this thread)
If people are too stupid, or too lazy to vote....good! It makes my vote count more. As a selfish jerk, I want my vote to count as much as possible. I want my favorite guy/gal/initiative to win.
Unless....hear me out....I'm worried that I need all those people for my favorite guy/gal/initiative to win. Because, 50.0001% of the typical intelligent/engaged voting population would vote against my guy/gal/initiative.
If I have to tell my side to "vote"....my side probably shouldn't deserve to win.
It would make more sense for celebrities, non-profits, professional sports leagues, (Or BobcatNation posters) to just say "Hey everyone.....please vote for _____". At least then you are saying...I want the intelligent people who are voting to please vote for my guy/gal/initiative. To say "go vote!" , essentially means I'm hoping like heck all the morons will get off the couch & I think the morons will vote for my guy/gal/initiative......which kind of means I'm backing the same guy/gal/initiative that morons would typically back.

Re: VOTE!
You may have noticed that the big push is "Go vote!" and not "Get educated on the issues and candidates and become an informed voter!". Why do you think that is?WolfPtCat wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 2:54 pmI'm having trouble completely understanding the "Hey everyone...go vote!" narrative. (or the title to this thread)

Re: VOTE!
This is a very odd take. So you're saying if you just say "go vote", but don't endorse a candidate specifically, then you are essentially targeting morons and voting the same way a moron would vote? But if you say "vote for X", then you are intelligent and your message is only intended for intelligent people? Super confused here.WolfPtCat wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 2:54 pmI'm having trouble completely understanding the "Hey everyone...go vote!" narrative. (or the title to this thread)
