Probably a conspiracy from the CONSTITUTION...
I’ll go out on a limb here and predict you’re working with faulty information. You’re certainly welcome to prove me wrong.
How about natural born citizen!
....Yeah? ....And?

I believe she was born in California.
Takes more than that... Her parents were not citizens.
No, it doesn't.

Oh great, now we are falling back on facelessbook truth detectors. The CONSTITUTION states 35 years old, 14 years of residency in the US and a naturalized citizen, both parents to be citizens (neither parent was a citizen). But the "interpretation" has been changed to meet the needs of some. Nikki Haley also falls into this. I am not just picking on your candidate. To me it is common core Constitution...

Where in the constitution does it say that one or both of her parents must be a citizen?

But I mean, if you choose to believe sites like that over the actual text from the constitution, I guess there’s nothing I can do about that. Godspeed.

The phrase "natural-born citizen" appears in the U.S. Constitution. In order to become the President or Vice President of the United States, a person must be a natural-born citizen. This "Natural-Born Citizen Clause" is located in Section 1 of Article 2 of the United States Constitution.

The constitution does not expressly define “natural born” nor has the Supreme Court ever ruled precisely upon its meaning. One can be a citizen while not being a "natural born" citizen if, for example, that person gained citizenship through the process of naturalization.

Under the 14th Amendment's Naturalization Clause and the Supreme Court case of United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 US. 649, anyone born on U.S. soil and subject to its jurisdiction is a natural born citizen, regardless of parental citizenship. This type of citizenship is referred to as birthright citizenship.

Do you guys ever just look at our two choices this fall and shake your head? They're both morons. Frankly I'm a little worried that people can be so supportive of either one over the other. That might scare me more than the candidates themselves.

Citing the Cornell Law Library is also acceptable.

Conspiracy theory, propaganda websites are not acceptable citations.

I really can't believe I actually typed that sentence...what a time to be alive!

I have a little (or a lot) less life experience than most here I'm sure, but it continues to astound me every day how seemingly intelligent people have apparently wiped any critical thinking skills from their memories.

I'm very curious to see where we go from here, and how it's looked back on in the future. Essentially my entire "adult" life has been After Trump, and I guess this is what it feels like to be living through that history.

I'm just as amazed now as I was 4 years ago: the shiny object technique to control and dictate the public narrative still works very well. Think about the number of people and news stations talking about if Harris is eligible to be VP. It was literally asked at Trump's presser today, and he said he didn't know if she is eligible or not, but heard she isn't. He was surprised the Democrats would, possibly, make such a huge mistake.

This is near perfect example of the shiny object technique and it's truly incredible to watch.
