A few of us have said we are sorry for biden

Post by RickRund » Mon Aug 03, 2020 3:53 pm

And feel the party should be ashamed of themselves for throwing biden out there. Where will he be in 90 days? What will he be in 90 days? Time will tell.

It seems to be pretty common practice for the Left - look how they used Mueller (The man didn't even know what was in the report of the committee that he oversaw)! In fact IDENTITY POLITICS, is all about dividing out segments/groups of the population and using them for a greater objective.

Socialism - the financial model historically used to control the masses! It has noting to do with
freedom, and seriously erodes the primary constitutional freedom of free enterprise.

Joe Biden may be President-elect, but this election is all about who he chooses to run for Vice President. Does anyone really think, if the Democrats win the election, that Joe will still be President four years from this date?

Biden selection process for VP just illustrates how much of a career politician he is. Instead of looking for the most qualified VP candidate, he has narrowed his search based on race and gender (African American and female). His willingness to say or do anything that will garner an extra vote is the exact opposite of why Trump was elected in 2016.

I know nothing about politics so please humor me. Is it not possible that a person who happens to be a woman or a minority could also be the best choice for VP?

Seems like this kind of thinking would keep a minority or woman from EVER getting an opportunity.

It is 100% possible that a female and/or African American could be the most qualified. However, that is not what Biden has done in his selection process. Since the Democratic National Convention, Biden has made it clear that he will only pick a woman. Before even undergoing the selection process, he basically eliminates 50% of the options. Why? Because it is a politically motivated decision pandering to the left. Do you think that eliminated males from consideration because they would not be qualified?

What stinks is his pandering is leading to ill thought out options. For example, he was strongly considering Stacy Abrams for the position. Mrs Abrams is African American and female, but her experience was limited as a representative in the Georgia state legislature. She also had a failed bid for Governor of Georgia. Not sure about you, but with questions about Biden’s mental aptitude, I would want the VP to be fully qualified to run our country.

How about Joe Manchin? I would even be okay with Amy Klobochar. What about you?

I don’t really have a strong opinion. I’d be fine with either of those two, though I think it will be Kamala Harris, and I’d be fine with her too.

Now that Kamala has been chosen as Biden’s running mate, do you think Pence will he kicked to the curb for someone like Nikki Haley?

Do a search and find that Harris is not eligible!!!

I don't believe Haley is eligible either...

A Harris vs. Haley matchup would surely feature some fireworks, but I am completely comfortable with Pence on the issues. Kamala has provided plenty of fodder for Republicans to pursue. A 29 year old Kamala was dating her 60 year old boss, Willie Brown, while he was still married. He had a reputation for shady deals and she benefitted from promotions he gave her. That is just one example. During the Democratic debates, she categorized him as supporting racists. Kamala also said that she believed the women who accused Biden of sexual assault. Seriously, the Democratic Party couldn’t come up with someone who really complimented Biden? What a train wreck.

Considering who is president, I would imagine that affairs and age discrepancies in a marriages fall under the glass houses category and probably isn’t a Pandora’s box they want opened.

I disagree with that... Trump has castrated for his misdeeds for 4 years, and everyone considers him a creep. Now, we can’t discuss Kamala’s past? Not going to happen. Not only will it be fair game, but it will be a drastic comparison to clean cut Pence.

People can bring up whatever they want. It’s all fair game. I just don’t think Kamala raw dogged a porn star while her spouse was home with an infant and then paid said porn star hush money. I’d say she owns the trump card in that conversation.

But, as they say, that’s why they play the game. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. Hopefully we have a fair election without any foreign interference.

IF Biden/Harris win the election, the U.S. will have it’s first woman president, basically unelected since we don’t actually get to vote for the Vice President. I just don’t see Joe sticking around for more than a year, if that.

Haha. That’s certainly the narrative the Team Trump is pushing.
