I thought is was the LP guy who originally posted it. Gosar is a buffoon. We don’t need that type of thinking anywhere.

Another super great GOPer. I wonder how staunch Republican voters feel about this potential candidate?

I'm trying to remember the last time Republicans disowned one of their own. They circle the wagons better than anyone I've seen. If Nixon was around today and running for office, they'd be out there voting for him. Even if there guy shoots someone in the middle of the day on 5th Avenue, they just say well he's better than any Democrat out there.

Incredible. Roger Wicker votes AGAINST Covid bill, but then takes credit for it.

Say what you will about Pelosi, but she called it!

Pelosi says GOP will vote against COVID-19 relief and then take credit for it

See how much fun this is?
Just more of the rules for thee but not for me. Really wonder if a non member of the elite class would have been confronted by airline staff.

Granted, he did not remove it for the entire flight, but......

Maybe because there is a huge gap between the $1.9 trillion total and the $350 billion directly paid to individuals? Maybe we need to cut off Washington’s addiction to debt? Maybe the bill went way past the parameters of Covid-19 relief? Maybe it is all our representative’s duty to ensure that we are represented? Some of us believe in fiscal responsibility, whether it is our children’s birthday party or our national debt. Why continue to cut-n-paste this one-sided, emotional propaganda without any consideration for the facts?

For example, to name a few details off the top of my head:

American Rescue Plan $1.9 Trillion
Direct Payments to Individuals $300 Billion

Difference $1.6 Trillion

Huh?

Oh! Here’s a portion of it:

State and Local Gov’t Bailouts $350 Billion
Obamacare Expansion $ 45 Billion
Amtrak $ 2 Billion
15 weeks Leave for Federal employees $570 Million
National Endow for Arts/Humanities $470 Million
PBS $175 Million

Were you aware of this, and do you agree with this type of spending for “Covid-19 Relief”?

Yes, this is a ridiculous piece of legislation. Depending upon who you speak to/read there is somewhere between 9% and 20% of the spending that actual has covid attached to it.

This covers a very sad situation but where do you draw the line. Patti's CalPers is a joke as far as funding. They have made some very poor investments.

I am not a fan of Susan Collins. If it were up to me she would have been gone ago but she, and 8 others, were for once being semi-sensible. The d's are always complaining about spending and so are many r's.

Could they have just spent the $1t still remaining from the previous package.

This is a great post. You should post it to McFaul’s Twitter because it is spot on!!

Of course the liberals on this site are completely silent because your post is 100% accurate.

There is a LOT of stuff, non COVID related buried in there. One example, forgiving minority farmers' farm loan debts. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for making things right if someone was discriminated against, had to pay higher loan rates, etc. But to do a blanket deal like this seems unfair to a poor white neighbor farmer that still has to pay off his loan.

100% correct. It is another example of the woke Biden admin and Democrats pushing through their liberal agendas. And there is no rationale for it to be in the Covid bill.

And to approximately 2.6m illegals goes approximately $4.4b in covid relief...
