Herman Cain

Post by TIrwin24 » Wed Jun 01, 2011 8:02 am

Just did some reading up on this guy, and it sounds like the left is taking him seriously as a potential candidate for the GOP.

Thoughts?

I am voting for him simply because hes black and conservative.

I will write him in after the GOP does their hatchet job on him and gives Romney the nomination.

He seems to be one of the few current GOP candidates that has even a basic grasp of economics, so that's a huge plus for him ... although it will probably hurt him in that primary. He seems relatively sane for a fringe candidate.

Romney or Pawlenty are probably the best candidates the GOP could nominate (in terms of having a chance to actually win the election), but Cain might bring some interesting views into the debates.

Limbaugh is an entertainer that will say anything (including blatant misrepresentations and outright lies) to rile people up in order to enrich himself. His on-air persona is certainly not a deep thinker that anyone should put any faith in whatsoever ... unless they enjoy looking foolish each time they repeat his words.

So, except for the money part, he is exactly the same as the "Alpha" character.

I don't believe that is a picture of Limbaugh. But if we want to change the subject to speak to all partisan hacks, that picture might then come into play.

Is CNN really positing commentary by comedians and trying to pass it off as news now?

How much will they offer John Stewert to do the evening slot against O'Reily

BTW, So far I like Cain better than anybody, but would still vote for Newt

Ummmmm....no. The column is on the clearly-labeled "Opinion" page, and the introduction to it describes Obeidallah as a comedian. #-o

There are indications it could have been related to Trump's rally in Tulsa (impossible to say for certain). Cain was also an anti-mask guy (he was pictured at the Tulsa rally without a mask while in the crowd). This virus doesn't care about party affiliation, so people need to start listening to science and not politics when determining how to act during this pandemic.

Herman Can was one of my favorite voices for America EVER - rest in peace.

Socialism - the financial model historically used to control the masses! It has noting to do with
freedom, and seriously erodes the primary constitutional freedom of free enterprise.

You really have TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome). Cain could have been infected at church, the grocery store, in an Uber, or anywhere... but somehow you want to tie to Trumps rally. Sickening.

All he said was there are indications it could've been at the Tulsa rally. He adds in parenthesis that it's impossible to say for certain. Why are you attacking him for that? That's a little deranged on your part.

Good word choice at the end though.
