Our Houk is better than that other one. \:D/

Won again tonight vs Kennesaw State. 3-0 to start the season. Looks like good things are brewing.

I was able to watch last nights game on ESPN+. The coverage is fantastic. The girls battled a little adversity but played well. Kira Thompson is a freaking stud.

Anyone have the stat line from the weekend? Kira is from another planet out there.

Kira has 45 kills and 7 service aces. She is a force out there.

Great performances and the team seemed to get better with each game. And, they did this all without Emma Pence and Jordan Radick — Radick was injured in set 3 of the first match. I’m impressed with Coaches Houk on getting the team ready and managing the game.

The Johnsen girl from Kennesaw is scary good. I feared for our ladies’ safety every time she swung.

Broadcast camera work was great — commentary, not so much. There has been no improvement from last season.

Fun weekend of Volleyball. Looking forward to this season. One question though. Can't we get some fresh air in Shroyer? It was god-awful hot all weekend.

This is just awesome to see! I’ve been a long-suffering volleyball fan ever since Dave Gantt stepped away, and I hope we are finally back on track! Go, ‘Cats! 💙 💛 😺

p.s. It’s high time that the early season Classic returned to Shroyer. And it’s been awfully hot in there in August — I don’t know if the garage door is still over in the southeast corner, but they used to throw that thing wide open. I remember a fan sneaking in a time or two. A Black Lab who must have been a ‘Cat fan. Fun days.

Cats split their last two games in Minnesota, losing 3-1 to Milwaukee and winning by the same score against Cal Baptist. Looking very promising so far!

MSU wins the 2-match sweep over Seattle U. to go to 7-1 so far on the season! Next week they travel to Reno to play Nevada and Cal before conference play starts on the 20th. Great start so far.

Great to see Pence and Radick back in the lineup. So much talent on this team.

I still like commenting on the gift that is ESPN+. I went from seeing maybe one or two matches in the Olympics to a true fan. I try to catch them all now. This team has juice.
