A few [pics from the men's heptathlon. Asa Staven will get an NCAA provisional if he can get a time in the 1000.

Staven breaks school record in the heptathlon by 300 points, gets an auto for conference and fell just short of getting an NCAA provisional mark. Freshman Jeff Mohl gets an auto bid to conference as well.

Congratulations to Asa and Jeff for their outstanding early performances! I see Asa qualifying in the near future for the NCAA's while I am excited about the future for Jeff and the Cats.
